The latest, hottest, pixel pushing from the studio of Paul Morton's Hot Frog Graphics

Hotel Las Vegas

A glitzier alternative to Monopoly and played with 3D card hotels and grounds.

A real pleasure to work on as I illustrated every single piece of this game (barring the logo)

In total there must have been around 300 individual pieces of artwork.

Make sure you scroll right down to the bottom of these images.

Pizza Tumble

Poppa’s Pizza Tumble. A very popular game the world over, takes on another new look for another season.

Pig Tails

A wonderfully simple game for 3 years +.

Collect as many piggy cards as possible.

With a deliciously wicked looking wolf about to pounce.

Frog Tennis

Smack a frog over a pond using a plastic raquet?

Whaaat?

Oh, ok it’s just a game, go on then, looks fun.

Especially with the electronic noises switched on too.

Actually, this was a great game to illustrate. As well as the cover there was also the pond/mat and a few stickers, and with it featuring a frog, well, I just had to go town on it didn’t I?

Battling Tops

Game box cover and internal sticker artwork for Battling Tops.

Commissioned by Interplay and features a spinning, zipping series of coloured tops that fly around the track.

Magnetic Pirates

This is not a “Pirate memory game”!!

Commissioned by Interplay in the United States it features a double page panarama scene onto which the child can arrange a number of piratical magnets.

There is also an Aquarium set and a Construction set, with hopefully, more to follow.

Busy Bee

Commissioned for a text book in the States.

Weird creatures

This was a very satisfying job to undertake, though it has not yet seen the light of day in print.

It was a hush-hush commission for a major series created by a celebrity that would, and might still, appear on TV, film and all associated merchandising.

I’ve stopped crossing my fingers but one day ….

Raccoon

This furry little critter was created for the cover and chapter headings of a math book in the states.

Hot Frog Logo

Hopefully this little red tree frog needs no introduction.

He was created in 3D programme Form Z and then rendered in Photoshop.

Incidentally, I also won an award for this model and received a 3D resin printout of my frog which was cool.

If you’ve not seen the 3D printing process which eventually turns out a real pick-ipable model, then go search for it, it’s like Star Trek has arrived!

Car character

This was commissioned for a CD cover for a recording of driving songs for children.

Tollhouse Cookies

Tollhouse Cookies needed a set of characters designing for their home-bake range of cookies.

Each one interacting with the actual, delicious cookie. These were sure to be found in many a Halloween bucket.

I created 8 characters in total.
