The latest, hottest, pixel pushing from the studio of Paul Morton's Hot Frog Graphics

Another wonderful job for the Imaginetics playsets for Interplay. A folding diorama scene is the background illustration and these magnetic trucks can be assembled and moved around all day.
Also shown is one of the many reference shots I took, set in a mini construction site area built from sand and rocks. Thanks to Archie for lending me the diggers.
I’m hoping I can get some more mileage from these sturdy little characters in a construction story app that I’m working on.
Colin the Constructor? Can he rectify the situation, you bet your monkey wrench he can!

Yet another delicious flavour for the Kelly’s of Cornwall Ice Cream range.
The first two images are some of my reference shots taken to capture the golden gloopiness of the treacle.
Lots more reference shots were required, ice cream, spoons, jugs (numerous and ultimately, unused), and of course the pudding.
This was created from the best of 3 different puddings.
And what happened to the puddings?
Why do you think I do so much mountain biking!

Well not quite retro but it was a commission that required artwork harking back to a golden era. Since I no longer work in Illustrator, I needed to create all the paths first, in Photoshop, and begin to build the image using a supplied limited colour palette.

I don’t think this packaging artwork has run through the full production cycle yet, so I’ll not reveal the final product.
Delicious and edifying, and possibly one of your 5 a day?
